FEE INFORMATION

My rates are competitive and within the customary range for mental health services in the Bay Area. I do not currently accept insurance. I do offer sliding scale services. For those with Out-of-Network Insurance plan options -- please first check with your carrier for PPO/POS/Out-of-Network coverage. If you have this type of coverage, I will provide you with a statement of services ("superbill") for you to seek reimbursement.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment. If for any reason a session is canceled less than 24 hours prior, the full fee will be charged.

HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes long and occur 1x per week at the same time and on the same day.

HOW LONG DOES THERAPY TAKE TO "WORK"?

This can be a difficult question to answer and it depends on what your goals are and a variety of other factors. That said, you have a right to request a written Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges under the No Surprises Act. Please don't hesitate to ask more about this during our work together.
